I am a Professor of applied microbiology in Univ. of Tokyo and have been engaged in for about 25 years in research works about fermentation. I am now in a trip around the United States and I intend to visit your University on 1st (Monday) and 2nd (Tuesd) of Feb. 1954. I wish eagerly to visit you in your laboratory and to talk with you about Bacterial Genetics and other problems, and to see the equipments and facilities. I would very appreciate if you would permit my visiting. I already sent the letter to Prof. Peterson and Prof. Johnson of Department of Biochemistry of your University.
