We move that the University, cease the widespread duplicity of teaching
Oh rer

and research in areas which support military aggression.

 

To this end we demand:
1. That all National Defense Education Act Scholarships be rejected

by students who now hold them. Defense is known to be military jargon for

aggression,

2. That foreign languages, an essential tool for military and
diplomatic oppression, cease to be taught on this campus.

3. That Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy, three key components of
military action, be barred from this campus.

4. That Engineering, a tool of the industrial military complex,
be destroyed wherever it is taught.

5. That Speech, Theater and Journalism which /not only. spread the
gospel of militarism {but are used each Christmas in the Bob Hope Oppression
of the Vietnamese people, be denounced and eliminated,

6. That Sciences such as Philosophy, Social Studies, Economics,

Psychology and Psychiatry, tools to capture man's mind and control his

life style, no longer be tolerated by this liberated school.
7. That Ecology and Biology be recognized as the scientific basis

for ecological and biological warfare and all faculty and students from

these fields voluntarily resign.

8. That Foreign Area Studies, the basis of knowledge underlying
imperialistic potential be withdrawn now, not next semester or next year.
9. That all Sciences which seek new knowledge be categorically
eliminated until new facts can be ae free of problems before their

discovery will be permitted.
Be it further resolved that Music, Dance and Elementary School

Education be declared sanitized and allowable as courses at this Great

University of Wisconsin.
