It looks as though I will have a position open for a post-doctoral
person for one year beginning September 1955, Do you have anyone to
recommend? “Inheritance of enzymes" is the broad title of the project,
and any microorganism may serve as the material, However, I have a
well-defined program underway, and I would prefer to have someone who

would be agreeable to working on a problem of my choosing, rather than
of his,

New Ph.D's receive about $15/month here; I don't have to tell you
about climate and working conditions,
