A little while ago there was a paper in J.
Bacteriology by Traxler and Minkley that referred
to your work on thin section electron microscopy
of mating pairs of E. coli. I have not so far seen
this in print; and I wonder if you could either
tell me of your observations or point me to the pub-
lication or perhaps send me a reprint thereof. For
any of the above I would be most grateful.
