After a shameful delay, we ara getting aroun to a repiti-
tion of Jacobian experiments on the timed interruptions of mating.
4@ are particularly interested in the sorts of things that Hayes
and Pisher reported us facilitating or interrupting (reversibly
and not) the various steps.

«@ run the risk of wasting a iot of time going over what you
may have clarified during your work in Paris last year. I know
you were rather critical of Hayes in som respects.

Do you have any sort of summary of your findings that might
help ua? we would be most grateful.
