Thank you very much for letting me see this correspondence. It was fun to be reminded again of your seminal role in setting up SMMS properly (not that I needed reminding!)
Well at least there are some strong hints; and tie points of time and place.
Henry Kaplan was useful only in directing me to Fred Terman who chaired the search; and just might be the one to have saved some files.
