Dear Mrs. Rogers --
I am sorry that my (prompt!) acknowledgement to you seems to have gone astray. I did write you that the correspondence you sent was right on the mark! Most helpful!
I also wrote that I had deposited the originals in the archives of the American Philosophical Society.
I hope you would be receptive to depositing all of his papers (bar whatever may be of special personal interest to you) with the APS -- and let the professional archivists decide what is important. Most people err by discarding too much.
