I am very grateful to you for your critical and sobering perspective on Rogers' work.
I had extensive correspondence with him, but to the best of my recollection did meet him just once. So I have no personal basis to add to your assessments. He died a few years ago; I've urged his widow to deposit his papers in extense [?] with the APS in Philadelphia.
To try to get a more detailed clinical account of the treated argininemic children, I tried writing to Terbeggen but mail was returned. Whatever else is said, the clinical group bears whatever responsibility may attach to the treatment decision.
