With great empathy,
I heard from David that you had to go to the surgeon to repair your shoulder. As you may recall, I had (what appears to have been) a similar experience in October '78, shortly after arriving here.
What a nuisance! -- and more. But after what can hardly be averted in the discomfort of the next few weeks, I hope and trust you will have as happy an outcome and enjoy as much restoration (or better) as I did.
