A gesture for collegiality

Is there, or do you think you might find,
a place to succeed the ‘doctors private room’
at the hospital cafeteria, which has now been
taken over as some kind of office ?

I used to see quite a number of fellow
chairpeople and other senior faculty from a
wide tange of depts. when I lunched there.
Those nearly daily contacts have now evaporated

If I may presume to make the suggestion
(shades of Welch Hall!) even a dean's table/roo
could have some merit.
