Dear Josh:

The continued pressure of Mary's health
problem - enteritis of one kind or another, and the
difficulties inherent in trying to find a job at
long distance, compelled me to move here at Christmas.
I've now taken up work on the enzymology of cellulose
and lignin degradation (among other things), and am
learning some mycology and engineering. As an experi-
ence for a general microbiologist, it promises to be
quite good.

Thank you for your assistance and concern.
I hope this move will be the last for many years.
