Dear Eppie:

As a research institute and graduate university, The
Rockefeller University’ $ work is known only to an all too lin-
ited, but select, group of individuals, even in our: immediate
environs in New York City. To widen this circle, we hold an
informal dinner evening from time to time with friends old and
new. As a congenial occasion to introduce you to the University,
I will be delighted if you can be with us on either Tuesday,
March 31, Thursday, April 2, or Wednesday, June 3.

Our small gatherings will begin with a reception at 6:00
p.m. in Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Hall. On each occasion, follow-
ing dinner, one of my senior colleagues will join us to highlight
aspects of his research which relate to major health concerns.
There will be ample opportunity in this informal setting for
mutual discussion and questions.
