As per our recent discussion, I am enclosing an
article which we-recently published in the New
England Journal of Medicine and an outline of

other research studies currently being funded by
various sources.

In reading your report of the activities of Rockefeller
University, I think that there may be some specific
areas where our two institutions would profit by
collaborating. I look forward to reviewing this

matter with you at our next get-together.

To confirm, we are expecting you here at our meeting
to discuss the state of the art of cancer prevention Zu
which is scheduled for April 14. We are looking Ae
forward to taking you out to thé Naylor Dana Institute

in Valhalla on May 9. I suggest that, on that day,

we have lunch together here at the Ford Foundation

building at 12:00 and then proceed to Westchester by car.
Should time permit, I would be pleased if you could 4
join me for dinner that evening at my home in Scarborough.
