Now that I have returned to my natural habitat, I
just wanted to let you know that I was delighted
to meet you at the Defense Science Board summer
study in Newport. I am sorry we were unable to
continue our conversation about educating policy
formulators, but perhaps that can still be done.

On another topic, I've just finished reading the
cover story in this week's Newsweek. I found it
rather edifying, both as an adjunct to my own
education, and as a bellwether of public interest
in a rapidly maturing field. I couldn't help
wondering if such an article produces a
noticeable ballooning in inquiries at the Office
of Admissions?!
