(Deputy Secretary) B. 4, BEMBRIDGE, M.D. 25th July, 1979 POW/JEM/1 17F/28/8815 Dear Joshua, I am sorry that I have not replied before this to your letter of June 7th about a fellowship programme between Britain and America in parasitology. We have, however, been thinking about the matter very carefully and have decided that we should discuss the proposal at Ken Warren's next meeting on the Great Neglected Diseases Programme which is to be held in Oxford in October. The reason for this is that the suggestion of a Course at Wood's Hole creates some potential overlap. I will be in touch with you again after that meeting. With kind regards, Yours sincerely, Dr. Joshua Lederberg, PhD, President, The Rockefeller University, 1230 York Avenue, New York, N.Y. 10021, United States of America
