Re " 'nylon' rope"
In case John did not pass along the preceding correspondence, I have enclosed a copy.
My thought was not to use nylon, but rather to ask whether you had, or could develop new high performance cordage for these applications.
If further development is indicated and that sponsorship would make the difference, I could also see what DoD requirements in that direction might be. But from what I heard at the conference I thought Celanese was already at the state-of-the art.
