Thank you for your letter of February 12, 1975, and your comments
regarding the release and health hazard of I/31,

Three Federal agencies will be responsible for specific aspects of
health research related to energy technologies. The Energy Research
and Development Administration TERDA) will be concerned with radiation
aspects of the program. The National Institute of Environmental Health
Sciences will be concerned with radiation only in a very peripheral way.

Although ERDA is still in the throes of staffing. I believe the appro-
priate individual to contact regarding the I problem would be:
