I was interested to see the note on your current
interests in the November Pennsylvania Gazette (having
achieved that mailing list via an unearned degree last
June).

In particular there was a remark of your interest
in a national cancer policy. The best kept secret of
the year may be the fact that I was recently named to
succeed Mr. Benno Schmidt as chairman of the President's
Cancer Panel, and in that character as well as many
others I would be most interested to have your views and
know the current focus of your work.

If you have anything that you would care to send me,
or if you can foresee a convenient occasion when you might
be able to visit here in New York I wonld be very happy to
hear from you.
