Dear Josh,

I'm not sure if this "Snailmail", as some people at
Carnegie-Mellon describe standard letters, will reach you before
my computer msg. In any case, there are only a few letters of
recommendation left to complete for the remainder of the agencies
I'm applying to. If you think Karen has all the necessary
materials to do this already, please send her the enclosed
materials and me a computer message.

Specifically, this is what is needed:

1) The NATO (NSF) fellowship letter of recommendation on
the form provided. Deadline is 20 November.

2) A letter for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society
following the suggestions as outlined in the letter I've enclosed.

3) A letter to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Research
Department, 810 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019. The letter
should contain "concise evaluations of the abilities and scientific
interests of the candidate".

Hope all is going very well in NY. Regards to the family.
