Dear Gus:

I did see Sir Mac the other evening in Stockholm, and we hed a
chance to discuss your travel plans next year. I am pleased ahd
confident that a very satisfactory arrangement can be worked out, 8--
this will be for you to discuss with him upon his return.

We also did a postmortem on the Gatlinburg conference, and the ens
closure which should be self-explanatory is a result. Sir Mac hasn't
seen this typescript, and I would appreciate your passing it on, or
having it copied as soon as he returns; we did go over the proposal in
some detail. Insofar as it really is one segment of hia own scheme,
(at the expense of the main proposal) I suspect he will be fairly con8
genial to it.
