Dear Doctor Lederberg:

In response to your note of December 4th,
we are enclosing herewith a copy of your fellowship
application dated December 7, 1945. We have looked
through our folders and find no other supporting
material beyond the two abstracts previously forwarded.
The letters of recommendation from Dr. Rhoades and Dr.
Graf mentioned in your application contain no scientific
material and so were not included.

In subsequent folders for the years 1946 and
1947, we have material relating to your research plans
and application for a fellowship renewal. These are
enclosed although I suspect that you have some of this
already at hand.

If there is anything else that comes to mind
we will be glad to put on a search.
