This may come from the American Institute of New York which is a rather venerable but narrow, not-too-active institution. Seventeen or eighteen years ago they were very instrumental in getting the Science Fairs and a local high school laboratory underway in New York City. | have been rather obstreperous myself about accepting public appearance requests and | would certainly not urge you to behave any more sociably than | am planning to do.
