Yes, you have indeed accurately pin-pointed the weak part in our report and we are actively working on this subject. In particular we have some evidence now that the correct timing may be between the 7th and 12th day of pregnancy. More accurate timing will follow after we have deter- mined (tritiated thymidine) the schedule of DNA synthesis in the foetus! neurons: the data in the literature (regenerating liver) suggest that growth hormone has most pronounced action at the peak of DNA synthesis. Our other effort will be to introduce growth hormone directly into the foetus. Short injection period will eliminate development of immunity.
