Sir:
You are hereby informed that, at a meeting of the Board of Trustees held this day you were appointed Professor of Histology in this University.  The appointment extends from September 1, 1917 to September 1, 1918 when it expires without notice, unless definitely renewed.  The salary is twenty-seven hundred dollars per annum.
