Dear Dan,
Enclosed are most of the event papers from Paul Berg's laboratory that use restriction endonuclease or S1 enzyme. Please feel free to circulate the preprints to anyone who may be interested in seeing them.
We have our RII enzyme cutting to completion but are having problems trying to grow our RII-generated mutants without derivatives of them containing tandem duplication rapidly accumulating and overgrowing the original mutant? Are you having similar problems with your Hind III-generated mutants or do you do all your infection to grow new stocks using DNA?
