Thank you for your letter.  I am glad you are managing a visit this summer.  Presumably your 6 weeks will include the Brussels conference.  July is perfectly convenient for me, but please let me know exact dates as soon as possible, as there will be several other visitors from various parts of the world about that time.
Caspar has written to me about his work, and sent drawings, but I do not at present know enough about his reasons for rejecting other possible sign combinations.
I brought back some A-protein from Schramm, and have now got from it a diagram which is almost indistinguishable from a good TMV diagram except in the equator and the meridian.  I have now got enough equatorial data to do something pretty definite about the Fourier projection, but it's going to be quite a big job, and I haven't yet had time to get down to it.
