Thanks for your note and the preprint of your letter to Nature (with which I agree only in part, possibly because I have not read Hyatt's letter).
Answers to your questions:
-- I have found, among Harriett's papers, no draft of the history of transformation!
-- A necrological article on Harriett has been published by Ravin -- I believe in Genetics [?].
-- I expect to be in Paris (six) [?] end of June; and I would greatly enjoy seeing you again -- we have not met for too long!
-- I do not expect to be in Calif in the near future -- have spent 3 days near CA last June; unfortunately had to rush back -- otherwise would have taken a side-trip to Stanford to see you.
