The attention of Medical officers is called to that portion of para- graph 35, Medical Regulations, which requires from them, monthly to the Medical Director and quarterly to the Surgeon General, a re- port of sick and wounded, and of deaths, and of certificates for dis- charge for disability. Also to the Circular issued from Surgeon General's Office, May 5th, 1802, requiring semi-annual returns of property to the Chief Medical Director and to the Surgeon General. These returns are to be made on the 30th day of June and 31st of December. The Medical Director is required to report to the Surgeon General a.11 Medical officers neglecting to make these reports. Such officers will be reported by the Surgeon General to the President for dismiss :il from the service of the United States, unless they can offer a satis- factory explanation. l\\ order of the Surgeon General.
