Advertising and Printing I..Officers of the army are informed that paragraph 1 of the Regulations of the War Department, relative to newspaper advertising, dated January 1, 1865, and embodied in General Orders, No. 17, cunent series, applies to all advertisements, orders, and notices published in newspapers, and intended to be paid for by the War Department, since April 8, 1864, which have not already been reported to the Assistant Secretary of War, under the provisions of substantially the same paragraph, contained in War Department Circulars dated May 20 and June 20, 1864. II..Hereafter all officers of the army, within the limits of the Depart- ment of Washington, will procure their necessary printing at the Government Printing Office in this city, unless otherwise specially ordered by the Secretary of War.
