Specification, Disobedience of the orders of his supe. rior officer. Finding and Sentence of the Court. The Court find the accused, Ist Lieutenant Alexander Doyle, Company A, 47th Georgia Volunteers, as follows': Of the Specification, Ist Charge, Guilty. Of the Ist Charge, Not Guilty. Of the Specification of the 2d Charge, Guilty. Of the 2d Charge, Guilty. And the Court do therefore sentence the said Ist Lieutenant Alexander Doyle, Company A, 47th Georgia Volunteers, P. A. C. S., to be cashiered. 11. The proceedings in the foregoing case having been submitted to the President, the following is his decision thereon: * * * The accused was not found guilty of violating the 36th Ar- ticle of War, The finding of the Court on the charge of violating the 9th Article of War is scarcely sustained by the evidence, it appearing to have been rather an enquiry and answer than an order and refusal to ©bey.
