Ladies Have Yon Any jffiljSSpF' these complaints: Prolapsus, or wpSmw a^iniT °f the womb, in any of its forms; Inflammation, Congestion or Ulceration of the Womb, either with- in its walls or about the mouth or neck; Leucorrhoea; Profuse, Scanty or pain- ful Menstruation; Constipation or Piles. For any of these disorders, our unrivaled Specific, Hazeline is a sovereign remedy. You will notice that all of the foregoing are dependent upon the condition and in- fluence of the organ that dominates and gives distinctive character to the life of Woman, viz. the Womb. *ls it displaced in any way? If back- ward, constipation or piles will surely follow. If forward, head-aches, pain at the base of the brain, and other nervous •disorders begin to manifest themselves. If the ligaments or cords, which support the womb lose their strength, Prolapsus will follow with its bearing down feeling, sense of weight in the abdomen and its unpleasant effect on the bladder with consequent derangement of the Kidneys and the entire eliminative system. In fact, all of the symptoms of languor, melan- choly, loss of spirits and lack of interest in life, can be traced unerringly to a dis- ordered womb, as their source and origin. But this is not all. The organ itself be- comes diseased and a prey to ulcers, en- largements, due to engorgement of the tissues with serum, or the diseased tissues become the breeding ground of tumors and cancerous growths that sap the ener- gy and ultimately destroy the life of their unfortunate victim. >We have thus far taken no account of the pain and suffering and the many minor disorders that follow or accompany the derangements of which we have spoken. Unsightly moth patches on the face, dark circles about the eyes, soreness in the lower part of the abdomen and great "tenderness in the ovaries, so that even the slightest touch or pressure becomes almost unbearable. All these point to a state of inflammation and lift up a warning voice, lest by neglect, chronic disease asserts its sway and baffle for years if not forever the most skillful treat- ment, Pain is nature’s protest against disease. It calls attention in no uncer- tain tones to lurking danger and if un- heeded, the patient may run the risk of perishing either by a surgeon’s knife or a frightful disease. Happily, our Specific, Hazeline affords a prompt corrective to these disorders and where properly ap- plied and faithfully continued, a certain cure may be effected, without even the intervention of a physician. No opera- tion or examination is required. In the privacy of your own home, this unrivaled remedy may be used with as much skill and certainty of good results as could be obtained by the best of physicians. When applied according to directions, these un- favorable symptoms will disappear as if by magic. The Womb will gradually regain its natural size by discharging its surcharged tissues. It will resume its natural position by strengthening of the muscles and ligaments by which it is held in place. It will again acquire its regularity of function, and the healthful activity of its parts and attendant organs will, by their influence on the general health, bring back bouyancy of spirit, cheerfulness of mind and the full pulse of perfect health. But perhaps we ought not to pass our post of warning until we have pointed out another danger that lurks amid the many consequences of neglected disor- ders of woman. An affected Uterus, if not properly and promptly cared for, brings not only cancers and tumors in its train but insanity as well. In proof of this we republish here an extract from an Editorial of the Western Christian Ad- vocate of Feb. 24, 1892. We reprint it verbatim. * THE FAMOUS SPECIFIC HAZELINE. DAVID H. MOORE. D. D.. B. F. RAWLINS. D. D„ Editor. Assistant. treatment by an attending physician. Fouith: the treatment must be local to effect a cure. All of these facts emphasize the merits of a system based upon a remedy which is applied directly to the seat of the dis- ease and which can be successfully ad- ifiinistered by the patient in the privacy of her own home. These requirements are fully met with by the use of Hazeline. It is unrivaled and has never failed to do as represented if used in compliance with the directions. We invite all afflicted ladies to write us freely. We will advise you free of charge, and all correspon- dence is treated with the strictest confi- dence. EDITORIAL. T® The Legislatur®. “Now that our asylums for the in- sane are undergoing official scrutiny, will not our enlightened and humane legisla- tors and Governor, canvas a question of supreme importance? More than half the patients in these institutions are females, of all ages and classes. Many of them are suffering from diseases peculiar to their sex, which are the real cause of the disturbed men- tal conditions, and from which they do not recover without local treatment. In their insane condition no amount of rea- soning will induce them to consent to its administration. If insisted upon by the doctor, his motives are misconstrued, and he meets with so much opposition and resistance that he concludes to trust to time and tonics to effect a cure: and the results are to be seen in the many cases of imbecility and melancholia to be found in the back wards of every asylum Surely every instinct of humanity would promptly provide the insane women in asylums with a competent physician of their own sex. Yet there is no asylum In Ohio thus provided for.” HOW HAZELIME OPERATES. In order to remove any apprehension that may arise from the effects of Haze- line, we offer the following explanation of its action: In all painful affections of the Womb the soothing influence of the treatment will soon manifest itself but in some instances, the patient may ex- perience a smarting or burning sensation with the first and perhaps second appli- cations of the remedy. However, this should give no occasion for alarm, nor should it cause the patient to discontinue the treatment, as the irritation simply in- dicates that the natural covering of the parts is broken either by ulcers or lacera- tion and in either case a persevering use of Hazeline will cure and remove the trouble. ' There are four points of importance in this editorial to which we wish to call at- tention. In the first place you will note that the cause of the insanity which afflicts many of these people, is the female dis- eases of which we have already spoken. Second: imbecility and melancholia as well as insanity follows as consequences of such diseases. Third: the natural re- pumance the sex must and do feel to When the Womb has become sur- charged and weighted down with serum, or when its tissues are congested and en- larged, the effect of Hazeline is to absorb and discharge the surplus fluids and in doing so, the serum and other objection- able fluids are coagulated so as to take the form of a pelicle or false skin and are THE FAMOUS SPECIFIC HAZELINE discharged in this shape. This plainly shows that the treatment is taking effect and that it will gradually and finally re- store the diseased organ to its proper size and place. Whatever the effect of the remedy may be, it is a sure indication that nature is making active efforts at repair and the treatment should be per- severed in, as the remedy is perfectly harmless and can be used by the most delicate with perfect safety. -If your trouble is of long standing, one box may not cure you but from three to six boxes will effect a permanent and radical cure. In Pregnancy, Hazeline can be used with perfect safety up to the seventh month and will greatly relieve the pains of confinement. Th* Famous Hazeline Is Doing Wonders. After the suppository has been insert- ed as far as possible in the vagina, it will become softened. It should then be spread around the mouth, neck and body of the Womb as thoroughly as possible and be allowed to remain undisturbed for three days. On the evening of the third day the patient should take an in- jection of warm soap-suds. A rest of two days should then follow and another suppository be inserted on the evening of the second day, thus making an applica- tion every five days. At the monthly period, the treatment should be discon- tinued four days, at the end of which time, resume the treatment as directed, making an application every five days and thus continue until relief is obtained. For six years I have suffered everything with laceration, due to child- birth, and I could hardly move without increasing the inflammation. Soon after the trouble set in, I had the misfortune to fall, striking on my back. This caused inflammation and congestion of the ovar- ies, and I suffered such pain that at times it seemed as though my head and should- ers were being drawn together. My hus- band employed three different physicians but they afforded me only temporary re- lief. I aUo had heart trouble and the doctors said I could not live. However, I gave your Famous Hazeline a trial, and all I have to say is that I am an entirely different woman, and can cheerfully rec- ommend your Wonderful Remedy as the greatest blessing ever offered to my af- flicted sex.
