This is acknowledge receipt of your letter of November 22, 1982, informing me of your husband's unfortunate medical condition. As you indicated, such information should be shared with both the Food and Drug Administration and the Center for Disease Control, and I sending the Directors of each of these two agencies copies of your letter. In this way, the appropriate persons working on vaccinations and innoculations may be informed of your concerns and the need to undertake necessary precautions on behalf of the public.
