A CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF JOSHUA LEDERBERG

The many years of collaborative computer science research with
Professor Lederberg have been years of inspiration, achievement, and
deep satisfaction for us all. On August 16 we will be getting
together to honor our colleague and friend and to wish him well in
his new work at Rockefeller University.

Though we will miss him deeply, it is a time to celebrate the scope
of his ideas, his personal warmth and caring, and his tireless
efforts on our behalf.

The festive occasion will take place on Wednesday August 16, between
Spm and 7pm, in the Gold Room at the Stanford Faculty Club. We hope
you will be able to join us in this celebration.
