SUBJECT: RMP Conference Plans

TO: Director, NLM

Attached you will find a first draft of a proposed program for the
RMP conference. I drew it up based on our conversations during Dr.
Rikli's visit, and sent it to Dr. Rikli for his review. He has
approved the proposal and I now give it to you for your suggested
changes. I am also sending copies to Lois Ann and Elliot for their

input.

Dr. Rikli has changed the date of his next visit to NLM from May 6
to May 8. I have cleared this with Pat Carson on your schedule.
She suggested that the middle of the day would be the best time to
meet, and reserved 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8 for
this purpose (to include lunch). I am assuming you will want
Elliot to join us again for this next meeting if he can, and am
alerting him via this memo. Please let me know if you want anyone
else included in the meeting.

Dr. Rikli is drafting some potential questions for the interviews
whélh he will send to us for our review. He has also suggested
that it might be nice if he could meet Diane Rehm, and perhaps help
to provide her with some background information on RMPs. He will
be available all day on May 8 and would be pleased to meet with her
anytime that day if you think that is a good idea and if that can
be arranged.

I will work with Pat to try to get her any of the addresses that
she needs for the letter that is going out. Please let me know if
there is anything else that you wish me to do on this project at
the present time.
