ALLEGED VIOLATIONS : Between 6-14-^65 and 9-13-65, while quantities of maca- roni, spaghetti, and flour were being held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce, the defendants caused the articles to be placed in a building accessi- ble to insects and caused the articles to be exposed to contamination by insects, which acts resulted- in the articles being adulterated. CHARGE : 402(a) (3)—contained insects; and 402(a) (4)—held under insanitary conditions. PLEA : Nolo contendere. DISPOSITION: 3-7-66. Each defendant—$1,000 fine, of which $750 was suspended.
