corporation, Charlotte, N.C., and James F. Timberlake, Jr., vice-president and 
general manager.
ALLEGED VIOLATION : Between 12-24-57 and 9-26-60, while held for sale after 
shipment in interstate commerce, the defendants caused the articles to be held 
in a building accessible to rodents, birds, and insects and to be exposed to 
contamination by rodents, birds, and insects, which acts resulted in the articles 
being adulterated.
CHARGE: 402(a) (3)—contained bird excreta, rodent urine, rodent hair, insects, 
insect cast skins and insect larvae; and 402(a)(4)—held under insanitary 
conditions.
