INFORMATION FILED : 12-23-57, Dist. Minn., against Security Wholesale Grocery, 
Inc., St. Paul, Minn., and Maurice C. Manton, secretary and manager.
ALLEGED VIOLATION : Between 8-7-56 and 6-11-57, while quantities of rice and 
chili beans were being held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce, 
the defendants caused the articles to be placed, or held, in a building that was 
accessible to insects and rodents and to be exposed to contamination by insects 
and rodents, which acts resulted in the articles being adulterated.
CHARGE: 402(a)(3)—the rice contained rodent urine and the chili beans 
contained insects; and 402(a)(4)—the articles were held under insanitary 
conditions.
PLEA :   Guilty.
DISPOSITION: 4-28-58. Corporation—$1,000 fine; individual—$500 fine, and 
probation for 1 year.
