RESULTS OF INVESTIGATION : Analysis showed that the article contained 25 per- 
cent of the declared amount of vitamin D.

CHARGE: 402 (b) (1)—a valuable constituent, vitamin D, had been in part 
omitted or abstracted from the article while held for sale; and 403 (a)—the 
label statement "Guaranteed Analysis * * * Vitamin D 3,700 IC Units 
Per Lb." was false and misleading.
DISPOSITION : 1-7-55. Consent—claimed by Hess Buttermilk Co., Dyersville, 
Iowa., and released under bond to be brought into compliance with the law. 
2-7-55. With the consent of the claimant, a supplemental decree was entered 
ordering the destruction of the product.
