Y., for shipment to the United States Army in Europe. PRODUCT: 105 cases, each containing 48 tins, of mace at Brooklyn, N. Y. LABEL IN PART: (Tin) "Safe Owl Finer Foods Ground Mace 4 Oz. Net." NATURE OE CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insect fragments and rodent hairs. DISPOSITION: July 16, 1954. Safe Owl Products, Inc., having appeared as claimant and later having withdrawn its elaim, judgment of condemnation was entered and the court ordered that the product be destroyed.
