ALLEGED SHIPMENT :    On or about January 30,1951, from North Kansas City, Mo. 
PRODUCT:   45   100-pound bags of dried green split peas at Tampa, Fla. 
NATURE OF CHARGE:   Adulteration, Section 402 (a)   (3), the'product consisted
in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of weevils.
The product was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate
commerce.
DISPOSITION : February 27, 1953. Default decree of condemnation. The court 
ordered that the product be delivered to a Federal institution, for use as animal 
feed.
