ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about September 9, 10, and 11, 1952, from the State of North Carolina into the State of Virginia. LABEL IN PART : "Colonial Bread." NATURE OF CHARGE : Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects, larval heads, larval head capsules, insect fragments, mites, psocid heads, and rodent hair fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DispgsycroN: April 1,1953. The defendant having entered a plea of guilty, the court fined him $500 and sentenced him to 12 months in jail. The court sus- pended the jail sentence, however, and placed the defendant on probation for 2 years.
