ALLEGED SHIPMENT: At various times prior to July 9, 1952, from foreign countries. PRODUCT: 500 pounds of coffee sweepings at New York, N. Y. NATURE OF CHARGE : Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance, and it was otherwise unfit for food by reason of the presence of dirty and crushed coffee beans, rodent excreta, manure, and dirt.
