PRODUCT: 8 100-pound bags of cottonseed flour, 1 100-pound bag of rice flour, and 1 100-po\md bag of caraway seed at Des Moines, Iowa. NATURE OF CHARGE : Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the products consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects. The products were adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce. DISPOSITION : December 6, 1951. Default decree of condemnation. The court ordered that the products be delivered to a charitable institution, for use as animal feed.
