ALLEGED SHIPMENT :    On or about November 25, 1949, from New York, N. Y. 
PRODUCT:   2,897 cases, each containing 6   6-pound, 8-ounce cans, of crushed 
pineapple at New Orleans, La.   The product was undergoing progressive de- 
composition.
NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted 
in whole or in part of a decomposed substance. The product was adulterated 
while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce.
DISPOSITION : September 26, 1951. Default decree of condemnation and de- 
struction.
