ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about April 4, 1951, by H. O. Knoke & Co., from Dixon, Ill. PRODUCT: 29 cases, each containing 24 1-pound packages, of barley at New Orleans, La. LABEL IN PART : "E-Z Cooker Brand Quality Pearl Barley." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted in whole or in part of a filthy substance (examination disclosed that the product contained insects and insect parts) ; and, Section 402 (a) (4), it had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby it may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : June 25, 1951. Default decree of condemnation and destruction.
