ALLEGED SHIPMENT :   On or about January 7, 1949, from Kansas City, Mot. 
PRODUCT:    60   100-pound bags of unpopped popcorn at Seattle, Wash. 
NATURE OF CHARGE:   Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted ins
whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of larvae and.
insect-damaged kernels.   The product was adulterated while held, for sale after
shipment in interstate commerce. 
DISPOSITION:   April 13,  1950.   Default  decree of condemnation.   The court
ordered that the product be delivered to a Federal institution, for use as animal
feed.
