ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about July 27, 1949, by the Utah Poultry & Farmer's Co-operative, from Salt Lake City and other points in Utah. PRODUCT: 27 cases each containing 30 dozen eggs at Los Angeles, Calif. Examination showed the presence of rotten and bloody eggs. NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance, and it was otherwise unfit for food by reason of the presence of bloody eggs.
