ALLEGED SHIPMENT : On or about December 8, 1948, by the Lik-Em Peanut Co., from Indianapolis, Ind. PRODUCT: 274 cases, each containing 12 1-pound bags, of peanuts in shell at Cincinnati, Ohio. LABEL IN PART : "Like-Em Peanuts." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the article consisted in whole or in part of a decomposed substance by reason of the presence of de- composed and moldy peanuts. DISPOSITION : February 16, 1949. Default decree of condemnation. The court ordered that the product be delivered to a charitable institution, for use as stock feed.
