ALLEGED SHIPMENT:    On or about July 20, 1948, from Lockport, Ill.
PRODUCT: 294 cases, each containing 24 8-ounee packages, of spaghetti at Besse- 
mer, Ala.
NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the product consisted 
in whole or in part of a filthy substance by reason of the presence of insects. 
It was adulterated while held for sale after shipment in interstate commerce.
DISPOSITION : December 17, 1948. Default decree of condemnation. The prod- 
uct was ordered delivered to a public institution, to be denatured and used for 
animal feed.
