ALLEGED SHIPMENT: On or about April 17, 1945, from the State of New York into the State of New Jersey. LABEL IN PART: "Cardinale Grade A 10 Spaghettini," and "Cardinale Grade A 34 Ditali." NATURE OF CHARGE: Adulteration, Section 402 (a) (3), the products consisted in whole or in part of filthy substances by reason of the presence of rodent hair fragments, mites, and insect fragments; and, Section 402 (a) (4), they had been prepared under insanitary conditions whereby they may have become contaminated with filth. DISPOSITION : November 10,1948. Pleas of guilty having been entered, the court imposed a fine of $7,500 against the corporation and a fine of $2,000 against Andrew Cardinale.
